I tested the horn ok, set the alarm opened the boot and then the bonnet lights flash but no horn. I searched this site and have come to the conclusion that the horn relay on the ecu under centre consle must be the culprit. The problem is often the rotary coupler behind the steering wheel. It is a wound ribbon connection and sometimes the ribbon gets damaged. It often happens if the steering wheel has been taken off.
