If you jump as you land your fall damage will be entirely negated but the blocks bounce effect will also be ignored. Weband the fall damage is not enough you can rush through the maps. this gets even worse with the health generation (not sure about that but ill try to set the difficulty to hardest and give food regeneration to everyone till battle phase)
