In 1974 the company changed its name to Ground Air Transfer, Inc., and in 1983 started doing business at Charter One, a Detroit-based charter tour operator providing travel packages to entertainment destinations. Charter One officially changed its name WebIt serves 92 destinations in 16 countries in the United States, Latin America, and the Caribbean. As of December 31, 2024, the company had a fleet of 194 Airbus single-aisle aircraft. The company was formerly known as Clippert Trucking Company and changed its name to Spirit Airlines, Inc. in 1992.
